Your students will "travel" to Africa, Asia, India, Europe, and the Americas, where they will take part in activities that demonstrate how different cultures use plants in their daily lives. Memphis Botanic Garden’s largest plant sale of the year features a huge assortment of perennials, annuals, tropical, herbs, shrubs, and trees, plus specialty garden items by local artisans. Expert Garden staff and Master Gardener’s on-hand to assist with purchases and plant care tips. Stop by and spin the Earth Challenge Trivia Wheel for a chance to win an eco-prize! Proceeds from plant sales directly support the educational and horticultural growth of the Garden. Admission is free to the public.

Family Egg Hunt

Everyone in the family will enjoy exploring the Garden’s 96 acres in search of hidden eggs with prizes for grown-ups and children alike. Children’s age-specific hunts take place at designated times: ages 2 & under: 2:30 p.m./3-5 yrs: 2:45 p.m./6-9 yrs: 3:00 p.m. Family egg hunt throughout the 96 acres of the Garden continues from 1 p.m. - 4pm. (1 prize egg per family, please!) Before and after hunts, enjoy a magic show, live music, and kids crafts and activities. Photos with the Easter Bunny and concessions available at additional cost.
