SweatMonkey Student Ambassador Program
Students Building Lasting Relationships with the Community
Are you or your students having a hard time finding organizations to host meaningful service learning, volunteer, and internship opportunities? The SweatMonkey Student Ambassador Program puts the power into your students' hands, allowing them to strengthen their leadership skills and earn credit while connecting volunteer students to community service opportunities, minimizing administrative efforts, and maximizing efficiency and volunteer participation for all involved.
Through this program, students can build lasting relationships between their school and their community...AND, they’re also helping to build the SweatMonkey community! The more organizations are on board, the more meaningful service, volunteer and internship opportunities are available for students.
In addition, the Program can help students learn other valuable business skills such as training, communication, public speaking, team building, and marketing skills.
Signing Up and Getting Started as a SweatMonkey Student Ambassador
The student simply needs to be registered on SweatMonkey and at least 13 years old to sign up to be a SweatMonkey Ambassador. Once logged in, they will be able to download a SweatMonkey Student Ambassador Program Guide which provides detailed steps on how to form a team, organize meetings, and reach out to the community to get them on board and show them how to enter opportunities into SweatMonkey. The guide links to a variety of materials to help them with these tasks, such as presentation, letter, and email templates, phone scripts, and meeting agenda templates that will assist the student as they start to introduce their school and SweatMonkey.org to the community.
